CJPS is just like any ordinary school out there; a school with classrooms, a cafeteria, a quadrangle and a fountain. But what makes this school really special? Do you know the answer? Just let me guess what’s on your mind. Is it the air-conditioned rooms? No. Is it the good ambiance? It can be but you are still wrong. Is it the tuition fees our parents pay? Of course, not! Maybe you are tired of guessing so i’ll start listing what makes this school so special.

CJPS is a school where teachers know your name. It feels good whenever people call you by your name. There’s this feeling of higher self-esteem when someone you see as a superior call you by your name and talk to you. Yes, teachers are superior to us but they step down to a lower level when they approach students. They humble themselves and find time to talk to us. Teachers here find time when you need special attention regarding problems in school and even with personal dilemmas. They would also smile and laugh at your jokes and stories while holding a bottle of C2. They are always there to listen to our stories at the end of the day and because of this, we really feel special in this school.

CJPS is also a school where the administrator plays with his students. You might be thinking that this one is untrue. Well, you read it right. Our administrator finds time to be with us. Maybe some of us are shy when we see him coming and some of us can even be seen hiding. But we have learned not to be afraid and to not see him as a nightmare in daylight but rather a friend in a happy sunny day. Maybe we can be speechless when he talks because of his fluency in English but we must admit that we tend to smile after talking to him. Remember last Buwan ng Wika Celebration? He played tug-of-war with the students. He also occasionally play basketball with students when he has time. And that is another reason on why CJPS is special- here, your headmaster, though demanding for high respect, proves that he can be a part of the barkada as well.

CJPS is also known for bringing out the best in you. This school hones your talents. Of course, CJPS does not only enhance your talents but also the intellectual ability of students. I think that is what takes us to the top. The school does not only focus on one side, instead, its scope is the overall being of the students. The school where you belong strives hard to give the best to you. Mediocrity is not in the schoollâ?s vocabulary. Be proud because the school where you go is always on the go to attain success!

CJPS is a home. Since it is a home, love and care is its foundation. You belong in a family which loves and cares for you. For those who do not know this, CJPS launched a program that helped one of its alumni. The alumni graduated many years ago but CJPS still helped him in his times of suffering. This is what we call a family, a family that helps even in the absence of your presence. Now that you are a part of this family, rest assured that you will always have a home to go back to even after leaving this institution.

CJPS is a friendly school. Once you enter the gates of the school, smiling faces welcome you. And when you walk along the corridors, students you don’t even know greet you. This is a school where you can find students always laughing while telling their stories for that day. Here, there’s no rich or poor; everyone is equal.

Lastly, CJPS is for Christ. That is what makes us more blessed and special in God’s eyes. The school always puts God in the center of all its endeavors. We always seek for Him and his guidance. Whenever we do something, we do it for God’s greater glory. The school teaches us to be men and women for others. Because of this, being Christ-centered persons, we know that we will be good citizens of our country.
